Two teams battle with playoff implications on the line as the San Diego Chargers host the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. The Ravens are -1 point favorites over the Chargers with an over/under point total set at 44.
The San Diego Chargers have had a disaster of a season but they are thinking that if they can win out a trip to the playoffs could still be in the offing. The Baltimore Ravens are tied for first place in the AFC North but with two wins over the Pittsburgh Steelers they own the tiebreaker and thus control their own destiny. The Ravens have had some stumbles on the road this year and they will need to avoid one in this spot to have hopes of a bye week. Joe Flacco is improving and he has completed 56.6 percent of his passes with 15 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Ray Rice is averaging 4.4 yards per carry and he has 1,029 yards and 10 touchdowns and he also has 62 catches and 10 more scores. The Ravens close out the season with Cleveland and then on the road in Cincinnati.
San Diego is 7-3 against the spread as a home underdog of up to three points, 2-5 against the spread in their last seven home games, and 2-6 against the spread in their last eight games overall.
