For the season Capuano has allowed 143 hits and 67 earned runs while striking out 110 in 133.2 innings of work.
Arizona is 5-0 in their last five games as a favorite, 5-0 in their last five games against a team with a losing record, and 8-3 in their last 11 home games against a team with a winning road record. New York is 2-6 in their last eight games against the National League West, 3-10 in their last 13 games overall, and 5-2 in Capuano’s last seven road starts. New York has lost five in a row in Arizona.
We have two pitchers who have been struggling and two teams who don’t come up with tons of hits but are very efficient offensively. This one is going over.
