For the season Reynolds has allowed 19 hits and 10 earned runs while striking out 28 over 26 innings of work.
The Kansas City Royals have now lost four in a row and eight of their last 10 and have the worst record in the American League. On Friday Eric Hosmer, Alex Gordon, Mike Moustakas, and Alcides Escobar all had a hit but that was all of the offense they Royals had as their four hits yielded no runs. Danny Duffy allowed nine hits and five earned runs while striking out six over five innings of work but that was only good enough for his third loss of the year. For Saturday’s game KC starts Kyle Davies who returns from the DL after losing five consecutive starts. For the season Davies has allowed 57 hits and 34 earned runs while striking out 29 over 41 innings of work.
Colorado is 7-1 in their last eight games as a home favorite, 10-3 in their last 13 interleague games against a team with a losing record, and 3-5 in their last eight games overall. Kansas City is 8-24 in their last 32 games following a loss, 1-12 in their last 13 against the NL West, and 0-6 in Davies last six starts. Kansas City is 2-7 in their last nine games in Colorado.
Kansas City is just awful and is an outright avoid until further notice. Take the Rockies minus the 230 here.
