The #2 ranked Texas Longhorns host the Oklahoma St. Cowboys this evening as 15-point favorites.  The over/under total for the game is 130.  Texas will be one of the favorites to win the March Madness Tournament.

Texas is 22-3 overall on the year and 15-5 verse the spread.  Texas is 10-0 in conference play and is now 1.5 games ahead of the Kansas Jayhawks in the Big 12.  Texas has not lost a game since January 8th when UConn defeated them.  Texas last played on Saturday when they beat Baylor 69-60 as 11-point favorites. Texas jumped out to a 16-point halftime advantage, 38-22, before getting outscored in the second half, 38-31.   The combined 129 points went der the total of 132.  The der has won in seven consecutive games of Texas.

Oklahoma St. is 16-8 this year and 10-9 against the spread.  Oklahoma St. had a two-game winning streaked ended on Saturday when they lost at Nebraska 65-54 as a 6-point road underdog. Forward Marshall Moses led the offense with 18 points and six rebounds, while guard Keiton Page added 14.  The combined 119 points went der the game total of 128.  Oklahoma is just 1-5 against the spread in their last six games.  Oklahoma St. is also 0-5 on the road in Big 12 action.

Texas has won and covered the spread in their last three games against Oklahoma St.  The der has won in nine of the last ten games played between these two teams.  Texas beat Oklahoma St. on January 26th as 5-point road favorites 61-46.  The combined 107 points never got close to the total of 137.  The home team in the series is 12-5 against the spread in the series.

With March Madness only a few weeks a way the Texas Longhorns are playing some of the best basketball in the country.  I expect them to cover tonight the 15-point spread against Oklahoma St.  Oklahoma St. will have a tough time scoring as indicated by them only scoring 46 in their first match-up.  I see Texas winning by a score of something close to 70-50.  Meaning, I am taking Texas and the der in the game tonight.
