Miami Heat vs. Los Angeles Clippers

The Miami Heat has won nine straight games and is the leagues hottest team.  They have won 14 straight road games tying a franchise best.  They look to continue this streak when they take on the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday evening in Los Angeles.  The point-spread for this match-up is a modest 7.5 points with an over/under of 191.

The Miami Heat won their first two games of this road trip winning back-to-back games in overtime against Milwaukee and Portland.  The Miami Heat are 15-6 against the spread in their last 21 games and 13-7 against the spread in their road games this season. The Miami Heat also has the leagues best defense giving up just 92.2 points per game.  Scoring may be difficult at times for the Los Angeles Clippers as they rank only 17th in the league in scoring with 97.6 points per game.  This problem will be compounded with Chris Kaman missing the game with a sprained left ankle.

I fully expect the Miami Heat to be fully motivated and hungry in this game.  Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh will want to put on a show in the media capital of the world.  I don’t expect this to be close and could see a final score of something near 100 to 85 in Miamis favor.  Smart sports bettors will wager on the safe side betting the Miami Heat and also taking a shot at the under.
