Betting the Big Games in the NFL

Entering into week 15 we have 11 games coming up with playoff implications. What an exciting week of NFL Football we have ahead. So where are you putting your money? Gonna be a Homer, goin’ with the Underdog, or riding the favorites? Most people don’t like betting on their team and I don’t blame them, it’s twice as bad when they lose. So favorites or underdogs?

Playoff implications put a whole new spin on the games. Teams feel the pressure and those out of it want to eliminate them as they feel this is their playoff game. With 3 games like this we have 8 games matching 2 teams vying for a playoff berth, 2 of which are battles within the division. The Giants take on the Eagles at home, and the Jaguars are visiting the Colts. I like this one!

Jags lead the division and the Colts who are one game back are looking not just to tie, but to take the division lead with a tie breaker scenario. If the Colts win they will have split head to head, both will be 8-6, and 3-2 within the division. I’m not positive but I think the Colts get the nod. Either way it’s a must win if the perennial playoff contending Colts want to make it in again.

Jacksonville is playing good ball and usually always plays Indy close. I see Indy as the favorite by no more than 3 1/2 with the over/under being quite high, probably 49. Call me crazy but I like Jacksonville and the over on a 2 team parlay (parlay is 2 or more selections/teams on the same bet).

Even though the Colts won last week, and lost the week before, both games were close with a lot of points scored. I see this one going down the same way. Colts D is giving up a lot of points and rushing yards. Jacksonville can score plenty especially with the way Mo-Jo Drew has been running the ball. Manning will have to score plenty to win.

Look for a final drive by Manning and company to win by 1 or 2. That or overtime!
