Who Will Win the Big 12?

The Big 12 has been a topsy turvy conference this season.  Texas is going to struggle to make a bowl after playing in the BCS title game last season.  Oklahoma State might have a better season than Oklahoma.  Baylor, who hasn’t been to a bowl in over a decade, may win their division.  Yes, things have gotten quite interesting.

However, in the Big 12 North things seem pretty much settled already.  When Nebraska beat Missouri, it gave the Cornhuskers a big advantage in the weaker of the two divisions.  Then Missouri lost to Texas Tech, which pretty much ended their conference title hopes.  In the South, Oklahoma State has the upper hand, but they also have a matchup left with Oklahoma.  If the Sooners win out, the division could still be theirs, but only if Texas A&M lose again.  In the end, Oklahoma State gets Oklahoma at home, so they will probably take the division title.

That leaves Nebraska taking on Oklahoma State for the Big 12 title.  That is a matchup of two great offenses.  Nebraska has the better odds at Sportsbook, but they also have a freshman at quarterback.  The Cowboys have a very potent offense, and in the end can definitely pull out this game.  The Huskers may be the favorites, but in the end they will fall just short as they did last year.  Oklahoma State will win the Big 12 in a shootout, which will provide quite the shakeup to the Oklahoma college football scene.
